SOUTH COBB
HOMESCHOOLERS. The South Cobb Homeschool Support group meets monthly at
the South Cobb Regional Library at 805 Clay Road, Mableton 30126.
Our next meeting Tuesday, August 28 at 1pm will
feature table ettiquette. RSVP is required but the event is

We are
pleased to announce our 6th annual Homeschool Open
House at the Atlanta History Center on Monday,
August 6, 2012 from 10:00 AM - 5:30 PM. We invite homeschooling
families to explore the Atlanta History Center free
of charge, including our exhibitions and gardens! Please note,
tours of the historic houses will not be available during the open house unless
you purchase tickets at the Homeschool Day rate ($8.50 for nonmembers; $6.50 for
children of members; and free for adult members). We'll have information about
our educational programs including all our upcoming Homeschool Days, Poetry Out
Loud, Outreach Programs, Family Programs, and more. Plus, take advantage of a
special discounted Family Membership rate of $65 for the whole
year!

If you plan
to attend the Open House, you do not need to make a reservation, or bring proof
that you homeschool-we trust you! When you arrive, you will receive a wrist band
and a map of the property. Free parking is available in our parking lot and
deck, as well as along Andrews Dr. You are welcome to bring lunch with you, go
out to lunch and come back, or we have a small Chick-fil-A on site.
